
Yamazaky studied with us last year. Even though he stayed for only a short time, his progress was remarkable. From the very beginning, he showed great dedication and effort, with an incredible talent for drawing and making caricatures. But what stood out the most about Yamazaky was his heart — kind, gentle, and turned toward God.
At that time, he lived with his mother and stepfather, a former inmate who was still wearing an ankle monitor. One day, without warning, the family decided to move to the countryside, to a place called Barcarena. We were sad to see him go, but before leaving, Yamazaky made us a promise: that he would find a church and stay close to God.

And he kept his promise. In Barcarena, Yamazaky found a church, began attending services, and eventually gave his life to Jesus. The news of his baptism reached us and filled our hearts with joy — it was like seeing a seed sprout in the right soil. 🌱
Now, Yamazaky is back in the community, living with his grandmother, who has taken responsibility for him and assured us that he will no longer follow his mother and stepfather. Welcoming him back felt natural — it’s impossible to say “no” to a boy with such purity and potential.
We truly believe that Yamazaky’s future will be filled with victory and peace. He is living proof that even when life takes us down difficult paths, God always prepares the way back home. 🕊️✨

Our boys from the Project Luz have been facing difficult times, especially concerning their physical and emotional health. Among them is Yamazaky — a boy who has always been kind, gentle, and full of talent. Lately, however, he has been struggling with anger and disobedience, a reflection of the challenges within his home.
His mother, sadly, battles addiction and makes choices that deeply affect him. Many times, the little money Yamazaky earns through his hard work and dedication — such as the rewards he receives for his progress in the RockSmith project — ends up being taken by his mother to sustain her habits. This reality has hurt his heart and shaken his trust.
But we continue to believe in Yamazaky. 💪✨
We know that within him still lives the same sensitive, talented, and bright boy we once saw blossom. The love and care he receives here in the project are seeds that keep growing, even in the midst of pain.
Our hope is that, with support, faith, and purpose, Yamazaky will rediscover that heart once turned toward God — and realize that his worth does not depend on his circumstances, but on the beautiful plan of love that the Creator has for his life. 🌱❤️
