We teach music not just to build skill, but to form disciples.
Musicians in Scripture were warriors and prophets. Priests and poets.
They led armies into battle (2 Chronicles 20:21). They taught the people to remember truth (Deuteronomy 31:19–22). They rebuked kings. They glorified God.
In a world that’s noisy but empty, we are raising a new kind of musician — one whose sound is filled with meaning. Whose chords carry hope. Whose songs defy despair.
And we believe this:
Music is the only art form that came down from heaven and will return to eternity.
In Revelation, the final vision of heaven is filled with music:
“And they sang a new song before the throne…” (Revelation 14:3)
“The voice I heard was like harpists playing their harps.” (Revelation 14:2)
🙌 So What Is Our Theology of Music?
- God is the first musician. We are His instruments.
- Music is sacred — whether in the sanctuary or the street.
- Children who play with honesty are closer to God than critics who do not play at all.
- Music is a weapon against despair, a vessel for truth, a form of prayer.
- The ultimate purpose of music is worship — not performance.
- Music must move toward the good, the beautiful, and the true.
“The Lord is my rock, my fortress, and my deliverer.”
(Psalm 18:2)
At Rocksmith Club, we say:
The God of Rock is the Rock of Our Salvation.
And through every song, we point back to Him.
