Forging G.R.E.A.T Musicians, Illuminating Lives

At Rocksmithclub.org, we believe in the transformative power of music. Just as a blacksmith forges metal into powerful weapons, we craft great musicians who can change the world with their talent. Our mission goes beyond music; it’s about creating opportunities and shining light into the darkest corners of society.

Our Unique Approach to Sponsorship

We approach our sponsorship of vulnerable children to study at “Small Light Christian School” as a hiring process for our company. We have two types of “employees”: Local Impact Workers and Global Impact Workers.

  • Local Impact Workers: These are young musicians who work tirelessly throughout the year to organize and perform at our annual benefit concert. Their dedication and talent help us raise the necessary funds to support our mission.
  • Global Impact Workers: These are the children we rescue from the streets of Hell’s Inn (Hospedaria do Inferno) in Belém. Through our sponsorship, they are given the opportunity to study at The Small Light Christian School, where they are nurtured and educated to become bright lights that will shine and transform their community.
  • Road Crew Workers: This support team plays a crucial role in ensuring the success of the impact team. They provide logistical support, manage equipment, and handle various behind-the-scenes tasks that enable both Local and Global Impact Workers to focus on their primary responsibilities and achieve their goals.

The Annual Benefit Concert

Once a year, our Local Impact Workers – the young musicians – come together to host a benefit concert. This event is not just a celebration of music but a beacon of hope. The funds raised from this concert are used to “hire” our Global Impact Workers – the children from Hell’s Inn – and provide them with the education and support they need to thrive.

The Story of Hell’s Inn and The Small Light Christian School

In Belém, there is a neighborhood historically known as Hell’s Inn (Hospedaria do Inferno). This area, with its complex history and challenging environment, is often overlooked and underserved. However, within its intriguing corridors, there is a beacon of hope known as “The Small Light Christian School.”

This school is a sanctuary of learning and growth, where 12 small lights – the students – shine as intensely as the noonday sun. Despite the challenges they face, these children are full of potential and dreams. They are the reason we do what we do.

Our Goals

1. Empower Through Music: We aim to provide high-quality music education to children in underserved communities, helping them discover their talents and build confidence.
2. Support Education: By partnering with schools like The Small Light Christian School, we ensure that children receive not only musical training but also a strong academic foundation.
3. Create Opportunities: We strive to create opportunities for young musicians to perform, learn, and grow, turning their passion for music into a pathway to a brighter future.
4. Raise Awareness: Through our benefit concerts and community events, we raise awareness about the challenges faced by children in neighborhoods like Hell’s Inn and the transformative power of education and music.
