🌟 The Story of Gabriel Uchoa

Gabriel Uchoa carries a story marked by challenges that would weigh heavily on anyone — yet inside him there is a quiet strength that refuses to give up. He is the son of a sex worker and has never known his father. Growing up without a stable family structure, Gabriel learned early how unpredictable life can be. Even so, he still carries in his heart a deep desire to learn, to belong, and to be loved.

At school and in the project, Gabriel often struggles with anxiety. When the time comes to take tests or be evaluated, his body reacts — he feels sick, nervous, sometimes overwhelmed. But behind these moments of fear is a sensitive and intelligent boy, someone who wants to prove to himself that he is capable.

Our mission with Gabriel is not just to teach him music or reading — it’s to remind him of his worth. Every note he plays, every small victory he achieves, is a declaration that his story is not defined by his past, but by the future he is building.

Even though it has been a difficult year, we are fighting together for him to complete one more stage in the program. We know that consistency, love, and support can break the cycles that once seemed unbreakable. Gabriel is learning to face his anxiety with courage, to breathe, to try again, to believe that he has a place in this world.
